We are Righteous

2 Corinthians 5:21 CSB

He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

After salvation we have not just been forgiven and given a ticket to heaven but also we have been made righteous. Our righteousness has been by faith and not that of work. 

2 Corinthians 4:5 CSB

For we are not proclaiming ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus's sake.

Our life is a ministry use by God to express Christ to the world in a unique way. We are not called to boast about our achievements, successes and new capabilities. God knows everything that we have been blessed with because He gave those to us. Today at this side of the cross we have been called to be an ambassador not of our brand of Christianity but an ambassador of Christ.

John 20:21 CSB

Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, I also send you."

As ambassadors we are sent to the world at this side of the cross to express peace to men. A type of peace where nothing is missing and nothing is broken. This peace that we are sharing is a person. This peace is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself!
