FULLY SANCTIFIED!

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NLT

Don't you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, [10] or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people-none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. [11] Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Some of you might be tempted to read someone else's email and believe right away that the letter was for you. Verses 9 and 10 describe an  unbelievers identity. It describes who they are.The email belongs to them not ours. Before salvation that was our identity as well. We were like our father the devil. But today we are fully sanctified(holy).Yes our Behaviour is not sanctified(holy)yet.However it is heaven ready. God is surely renewing our minds and He is absolutely working in it.Verse 11 clarifies who we really are at this side of the cross. We are believers(that is our Identity). We were cleansed,made holy and made right with God because because we  have called upon the name of Jesus at salvation. Today the  Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of Christ himself reminds us of our new Identity. Don't worry bout your behaviour it will soon bear the fruit of the Spirit.
